When I first heard of the word ‘oxblood’ within the fashionistas’ online habitat, I thought that perhaps fashion had gone gory and some poor oxen’s blood had been used as inspiration. 
The modern baroque fashion has the characteristics of the artistic inclination of 1600s period in Rome, Italy and all around Europe. 
Life is too short to wear boring clothes – A line that appeals to the fashion-infatuated and style fanatics. But lately, all I could thing of is that we’d all look better in reasonable clothes no matter how boring they may seem to appear. 
What is it with the checkered shirts and tops that make them so wearable this season? We’ll take a look at why this is so if you can survive my yammering. 
Flatform shoes are what you get when flats get too cozy with platforms. A celebrated trend of 2011, these shoes are making a quiet comeback among those who welcome any added height minus the pain factor of tiptoeing around. 
Studded items of clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery have been stated to carry an edgy characteristic about them. 
Polka dotted pants – how can you not love them? 
While patterns, prints and colors in fashion grab our immediate attention, texture catches our sight in a very subtle manner by creating a mood about an outfit. 
Black looks good on most people. The color of non-color is a favorite among many; from young emo teens, punk sweethearts, rockstar chicks and stylish young women to your sweet grandmamas out there. 
There are days for figure-hugging skinny jeans and leggings; but every girl knows flowy maxi skirts can give her a break on days when she just wants to embrace her femininity or more so to give her legs a bit of a breather. 
October approaches its spooky end with the celebration of Halloween lurking around the cobwebby corner. |
