Fashionista NOW: Casual Chic In Basic White Tops & Neutral Bottoms

What’s more minimal and neater than a white top for days when you feel like de-cluttering your spirit through the simplest of fashion.

The clinical brilliance of being all clad up in white seen on models working the catwalks of Spring/Summer 2012 may not necessarily translate on everyone and if you’re not careful, it might just turn you into a human marshmallow.

The trick to avoid looking like one when all clad in white from head to toe is to pair fabrics of different materials. For example, team a sheer flowy top with a crisp cotton white skinny pants.

The different fabric materials used together will offset the garish graphic white look that are the usual looks of some golfers. Unless you’re into that sort of look, I suggest we all stay far away from looking like we’re about to prance around comparing the whiteness of our clothing in a laundry detergent advert set.

The casual chic look that I’m particularly smitten with right now is of the combo white tops or blouses with neutral bottoms. Minimalistic and most understated, this pairing is suited for just about anyone.

Below are some of the casual chic in white outfits that I love by lookbookers. Practical and simple. What else could be more in?
