Occult Sociology : The Phantom of The Opera ( Mystic Sociology / Occult Symbology )

The Phantom of the Opera is a profoundly sophisticated musical and holds powerful symbology which aids in the understanding of our current social realities being held in sway by an unseen dark hand.

Hence by identification of these key areas we can then fashion more effective therapies against negative social phenomenons and impede its replication.

Below are the key scenes of which we will base our discussion here about ( I have coloured key passages of which are of particular interest )

[CHRISTINE] (abstracted, entering the dressing room)

Father once spoke of an angel
I used to dream he’d appear

Now as I sing,I can sense him
And I know, he’s here (trance-like)

Here in this room he calls me softly
somewhere inside hiding

Somehow I know he’s always with me
he – the unseen genius

[MEG]
I watched your face from the shadows, distant through all the applause
I hear your voice in the darkness, yet the words aren’t yours

[CHRISTINE] (not hearing her, ecstatic)
Angel of Music! Guide and guardian!
Grant to me your glory!

[MEG] (to herself)
Who is this angel?
This . . .

[BOTH MEG & CHRISTINE]
Angel of Music! Hide no longer!
Secret and strange angel

[CHRISTINE] (darkly)
He’s with me, even now

[MEG] (bewildered)
Your hands are cold . . .

[CHRISTINE]
All around me . . .

[MEG]
Your face, Christine, it’s white . . .

[CHRISTINE]
It frightens me . . .

[MEG]
Don’t be frightened . . .

(THEY look at each other The moment is broken
by the arrival of GIRY)

[GIRY]
Meg. Are you a dancer? Then come and practice. (MEG leaves and joins the DANCERS)
My dear, I was asked to give you this.

(She hands CHRlSTlNE a note, and exits.
CHRISTINE opens it and reads)

[CHRISTINE]
A red scarf . . . the attic . . . Little Lotte . . .

CHRISTINE ‘S DRESSING ROOM

(RAOUL knocks at the door and enters)

[RAOUL]
Christine Daae, where is your scarf?

[CHRISTINE]
Monsieur?

[RAOUL]
You can’t have lost it. After all the trouble I took.
I was just fourteen and soaked to the skin . . .

[CHRISTINE]
Because you had run into the sea to fetch my scarf.
Oh, Raoul. So it is you!

[RAOUL]
Christine. (They embrace and laugh. She moves away and sits at her
dressing table)

[RAOUL]
“Little Lotte let her mind wander . . .”

[CHRISTINE]
You remember that, too . . .

[RAOUL] (continuing)
“. . . Little Lotte thought: Am I fonder
of dolls . . .”

[BOTH] (CHRISTINE joining in)
“. . . or of goblins,
of shoes . . .”

[CHRISTINE]
“. . . or of riddles.
of frocks . . .”

[RAOUL]
Those picnics in the attic . . .
“. . . or of chocolates . . .”

[CHRISTINE]
Father playing the violin . . .

[RAOUL]
As we read to each other
dark stories of the North . . .

[CHRISTINE]
“No, what I love best, Lotte said,
is when I’m asleep in my bed,
and the Angel of Music sings songs in my
head!”

[BOTH]
“. . . the Angel of Music sings song in my
head!”

[CHRISTINE] (turning in her chair to look at him)
Father said, “When I’m in heaven, child, I will send the
Angel of Music to you”. Well, father is dead, Raoul, and
I have been visited by the Angel of Music.

[RAOUL]
No doubt of it. And now we’ll go to supper!

[CHRISTINE]
No, Raoul, the Angel of Music is very strict.

[RAOUL]
I shan’t keep you up late!

[CHRISTINE]
No, Raoul . . .

[RAOUL]
You must change. I must get my hat. Two minutes Little
Lotte. (He hurries out)

[CHRISTINE] (calling after him)
Raoul!
(quietly picking up her hand mirror)
Things have changed, Raoul.

(Tremulous music. CHRISTINE hears the PHANTOM’S voice, seemingly from behind her dressing room mirror)

[PHANTOM’S VOICE]
Insolent boy! This slave of fashion
Basking in your glory!

Ignorant fool!
This brave young suitor,
sharing in my triumph!

[CHRISTINE] (spell-bound)
Angel! I hear you!
Speak – I listen . . .
stay by my side, guide me!

Angel, my soul was weak – forgive me . . .
enter at last, Master!

[PHANTOM’S VOICE]
Flattering child, you shall know me,
see why in shadow I hide!
Look at your face in the mirror – I am there inside!

(The figure of the PHANTOM becomes discernible
behind the mirror)

[CHRISTINE] (ecstatic)
Angel of Music! Guide and guardian!
Grant to me your glory!
Angel of Music! Hide no longer!
Come to me, strange angel

[PHANTOM”S VOICE]
I am your Angel of Music
Come to me Angel of Music

(CHRISTINE walks towards the glowing, shimmering glass. Meanwhile, RAOUL has returned. He hears the voices and is puzzled. He tries the door It is locked)

[RAOUL]
Whose is that voice . . .?
Who is that in there . . .?

(Inside the room the mirror opens. Behind it, in an inferno of white light, stands the PHANTOM. He reaches forward and takes CHRISTINE firmly, but not fiercely, by the wrist. His touch is cold, and CHRISTINE gasps)

[PHANTOM]
I am your Angel of Music
Come to me: Angel of Music

(CHRISTINE disappears through the mirror, which closes behind her The door of the dressing room suddenly unlocks and swings open, and RAOUL enters to find the room empty)

[RAOUL]
Christine!

THE LABYRINTH UNDERGROUND

[CHRISTINE]
In sleep he sang to me, in dreams he came,
that voice which calls to me, and speaks my name.

And do I dream again? For now I find
the phantom of the opera is there
inside my mind.

[PHANTOM]
Sing once again with me our strange duet;
my power over you grows stronger yet.

And though you turn from me to glance behind,
the phantom of the opera is there
Inside your mind.

[CHRISTINE]
Those who have seen your face
draw back in fear.

[CHRISTINE]
I am the mask you wear,

[PHANTOM / PHANTOMS TOGETHER]
It’s me they hear.

(Together At The Same Time)
Your spirit and my voice in one combined [CHRISTINE]
My spirit and my voice in one combined [PHANTOM]

The phantom of the opera is there

(Together At The Same Time)
Inside my mind [CHRISTINE]
Inside your mind [PHANTOM]

[Voices:]
He’s there the phantom of the opera.
Beware the phantom of the opera.

[PHANTOM]
In all your fantasies, you always knew
that man and mystery ….
[CHRISTINE] were both in you.

[CHRISTINE & PHANTOM]
And in this labyrinth where night is blind,
the Phantom of the opera is here

(Together At The Same Time)
Inside my mind [CHRISTINE]
Inside your mind [PHANTOM]

[PHANTOM]
Sing, my angel of music!

BEYOND THE LAKE THE NEXT MORNING

(Finally they arrive in the PHANTOM’S lair. Downstage
the candles in the lake lift up revealing giant
candelabrums outlining the space. The boat turns into a
bed. There is a huge pipe organ. The PHANTOM sits at
the organ and takes over the accompaniment)

[PHANTOM]
I have brought you
to the seat of sweet music’s throne
to this kingdom where all must pay homage to music
music

You have come here, for one purpose, and one alone

Since the moment I first heard you sing,
I have needed you with me,
to serve me, to sing, for my music
my music

( Changing Mood )

Night-time sharpens, heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs andwakes imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defences

Slowly, gently night unfurls its splendour .
Grasp it, sense it – tremulous and tender

Turn your face away from the garish light of day, turn your thoughts away
from cold, unfeeling light – and listen to the music of the night . . .
Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams!
Purge your thoughts of the life you knew before!
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar!
And you’ll live as you’ve never lived before . . .

Softly, deftly, music shall surround you . . .
Feel it, hear it, closing in around you . . .
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind,
in this darkness which you know you cannot fight – the darkness of the music of the night . . .

Let your mind
start a journey through a strange new world!

Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before!
Let your soul
Take you where you long to be !
Only then can you belong to me . . .

Floating, falling, sweet intoxication!
Touch me, trust me savour each sensation!
Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in
to the power of the music that I write – the power of the music of the night . . .

(During all this, the PHANTOM has conditioned CHRISTINE to the coldness of his touch and her fingers are brave enough to stray to his mask and caress it, with no hint of removing it. The PHANTOM leads her to a large mirror from which he removes a dust cover and in which we see the image of CHRISTINE, a perfect wax- face impression, wearing a wedding gown. CHRISTINE moves slowly towards it when suddenly the image thrusts its hands through the mirror towards her She faints. The PHANTOM catches her and carries her to the bed, where he lays her down.)

[PHANTOM]

You alone can make my song take flight – help me make the music of the night . . .

The Iconic Scene 4 Played Out ( Take Notice Of The Various Symbologies & Various Group Dynamics Which Interacts With The Text Script Above )

On The Surface ( Stating The Seen )

Christine refers to the Phantom as the Angel of Music and herself as his Angel of Music

Phantom refers to Christine as my Angel of Music and himself as her Angel of Music

Christine refers to the Phantom as being very strict and as her master ( thus making her his slave )

The Phantom refers to Christine as his triumph.

Phantom refers to Raoul as a slave of fashion hence implies that Raoul has his own master, this indicates that all the concepts of the above can be applied to all areas of human industry such as Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media or Religion. All in different forms of manifestation.

[CHRISTINE]
Those who have seen your face
draw back in fear.

[CHRISTINE]
I am the mask you wear,

[PHANTOM / PHANTOMS TOGETHER]
It’s me they hear.

(Together At Same Time)
[CHRISTINE] Your spirit and my voice in one combined
[PHANTOM] My spirit and my voice in one combined

The phantom of the opera is there

[CHRISTINE] Inside my mind
[PHANTOM] Inside your mind

The Phantom is the face, Christine is the Phantom’s mask

Christine gives the Phantom her voice and the Phantom gives Christine his words

In this musical rendition below at 2:07 in the timeline, you can see when they reach the the lyric “combine” , the phantom’s hand reaches down to Christine’s womb, takes it and releases it into the air

As they unite into one flesh, Phantom’s spirit fertilises Christine whom is represented by her womb because she is the vessel for Phantom’s spirit

And the fruit of their conception is then released into the air as music for the purpose of metaphysically influence the world

In the last part of the song,

Christine(s) pours herself out as a drink offering to fulfil the Phantom’s demands for her to sing for his music

Phantom gives Christine his glory at the cost of her life force

Christine’s life force is sacrificed for the grandeur of the Phantom’s music

Below is a rendition featuring two Christines and four Phantoms

[CHRISTINE] (spell-bound)
Angel! I hear you!
Speak – I listen . . .
stay by my side, guide me!

Angel, my soul was weak – forgive me . . .
enter at last, Master!

[PHANTOM’S VOICE]
Flattering child, you shall know me,
see why in shadow I hide!
Look at your face in the mirror – I am there inside!

(The figure of the PHANTOM becomes discernible
behind the mirror)

The mirror represents the world of spirits, the Phantom is a spirit whom reveals himself to Christine as she looks at her own face in the mirror at his command

Another layer to this is, as Christine looks into the mirror at her face she sees the Phantom inside her thru the reflection in her eyes

Another layer is, since Christine and the Phantom are both the Angel of Music, Christine becomes the Phantom thru the Phantom dwelling inside her mind

You can also see a similar mirror concept shown in Britney Spear’s song, Lucky

After you have watched the clip, you can try find out the course of Britney’s real life

Try examining the life values brought forth by Britney’s songs and make logical correlations between her songs and her life and the lives of those who follow her

The phantom lives inside the mirror because self interest is his dwelling place

And you know what’s more interesting ?

The smartphones that everyone have on their hands are like little “magic mirrors” too right ?

How many people seek social affirmation for themselves from strangers on the internet via social media ?

[PHANTOM]
I have brought you
to the seat of sweet music’s throne
to this kingdom where all must pay homage to music
music

You have come here, for one purpose, and one alone

Since the moment I first heard you sing,
I have needed you with me,
to serve me, to sing, for my music
my music

The phantom chose Christine is because of her talent

Metaphysically this implies that Christine has no worth to the Phantom without her talent. This is the area where we go into the idea of self-worth

The importance talent and ability is stressed throughout the course of the musical

According to this belief, talent holds ultimate importance, not virtue.

This is a form of talent worship, the idea where you are only worth something if you have some sort of ability

On the other hand, what’s not discussed is where is the source of Christine’s talent ?

God is not acknowledged for her talent and perhaps even blamed for the Phantom’s birth deformity

Symbolic Interpretation ( Stating The Unseen )

On a personal level I have observed the phenomenon where some people merge so much with their art or endeavor that any critique on their work is seen as a critique on them personally

Example, A friend’s friend was top student in his high school but the moment he goes to a top university overseas and discovers that he is not able to cope with the syllabus there, he became suicidal.

I hypothesised that all this is because these people’s self identity is merged too closely with their craft ( Photography, art, music, business, modelling, religion, social status, etc ), thats why they become highly reactive when their craft is under critique or peril.

This now make tremendous sense when its expressed in this musical how the Phantom they worship is found in the mirror !

[CHRISTINE]
Those who have seen your face
draw back in fear.

[CHRISTINE]
I am the mask you wear,

[PHANTOM / PHANTOMS TOGETHER]
It’s me they hear.

(Together At Same Time)
[CHRISTINE] Your spirit and my voice in one combined
[PHANTOM] My spirit and my voice in one combined

The phantom of the opera is there

[CHRISTINE] Inside my mind
[PHANTOM] Inside your mind

In mysticism the concept of duality is widespread, here in this musical its shown how seemingly opposites Christine ( material ) and the Phantom ( immaterial ) becomes one

The Phantom is the spirit and Christine is the voice

Christine sings to the audience and its the Phantom whom they hear

This concept is very complexed and sophisticated

But what is not apparent here is the third part of this combination

Let me illustrate

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?

The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

( Context : https://biblehub.com/esv/john/14.htm )

There are three components

1 ) The Father

2 ) Jesus

3 ) Account Of The Works ( The Holy Spirit )

An alternate expression

Jesus : “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

( Context : https://biblehub.com/esv/john/14.htm )

The are three components

1 ) The Father

2 ) Jesus

3 ) The Helper / Spirit of Truth ( The Holy Spirit )

These are just two our of many different ways to express this concept, if you read the four accounts of Jesus you can find them ( The Book of Mark, Matthew, John, Luke )

My point is, in the concept of duality, there is an unseen third component always.

This is not shown because to the force of darkness, secrecy is power.

If you watched the video highlight above, to illustrate the word “combine“, the Phantom‘s hand reaches down to Christine‘s womb, takes it and releases it into the air

The Phantom is the seed, Christine the vessel , and the fruit of their union is Unseen because it is in secret

So here are the three components

1 ) The Phantom

2 ) Christine

3 ) The Unseen Fruit of Deception

This is a form of sophistry employed to seduce, hypnotise and deceive unto destruction

Because we exist in this plane of reality, the third component must always exist because the third component has to do with interaction with reality

Another way to express the third component is the progress of history or consequence in reality

For Christine who chose to follow after phantom, the immediate consequence is that her life force is drained from her as symbolised in the videos above

Christine’s audience whom hears the Phantom thru her voice ends up being deceived as well and their lives will be thrown into turmoil as result of believing in the Phantom’s lies.

At the same time, Christine’s audience who puts her upon a pedestal, starts to have their own ideas on this image of her whom is presented to them through the Phantom hence putting social pressures of expectation upon Christine

This is a form of social isolation through idolatry which can be crushingly destructive to the person. We can see this in the lives of many celebrities, many commit suicide and many more lead wrecked lives and at the same time new celebrities are being groomed to replace them

Once Christine has been broken and done being used, Phantom will toss her aside and inhabit new younger talented vessels to serve his music of the night.

The above mechanisms make for the perfect machine to destroy lives. First through sacrificing people like Christine in the name of “Art”, second through destroying the lives of people who believe in the deceptive message from this “Art”.

All this stems from the error of misplacing the importance of talent over virtue.

This meat meatgrinding machine is aptly symbolised with the woman shaped candle stands in the Phantom’s cavern as shown below

The woman shaped candle stands sort of resembles the Jewish menorah but in an inverted way

The menorah is a symbol of bringing God’s glory, truth, and light into the world.

On the other hand, these Phantom’s lamp-stands also brings forth a form of light but at the expense of the life force of its subjects and the light is in fact darkness which cause people to stumble.

Going deeper, in the musical script in scene 5

(During all this, the PHANTOM has conditioned CHRISTINE to the coldness of his touch and her fingers are brave enough to stray to his mask and caress it, with no hint of removing it. The PHANTOM leads her to a large mirror from which he removes a dust cover and in which we see the image of CHRISTINE, a perfect wax- face impression, wearing a wedding gown. CHRISTINE moves slowly towards it when suddenly the image thrusts its hands through the mirror towards her She faints. The PHANTOM catches her and carries her to the bed, where he lays her down.)

Its interesting that in this scene Christine is actually inside the first mirror where she took the boat to Phantom’s lair and here another mirror is unveiled to her

Its a mirror within a mirror revealed by phantom which shows to Christine herself in a wedding gown in marriage to him

This bride imagery reminds me of the following passages from the Bible in the book of Ephesians and Revelation

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

( Context : https://biblehub.com/kjv/revelation/19.htm )

and also

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body. “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.

However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

( Context : https://biblehub.com/esv/ephesians/5.htm )

The name Christine means follower of Christ or a female Christian. Now there is two layers to this then

1 ) Collectively all followers of Jesus Christ makes up the Church and the Church is the bride of Christ awaiting Jesus’s return. What business is the bride of Christ flirting with the idea of marriage with the Phantom ?

2 ) What business is a female Christian flirting about with the Phantom ?

Now we know that the force of darkness delights in the imagery of corruption. In many of their work and deeds they take pleasure in the process of tainting innocence with evil and wickedness.

For example, you can listen to this call below where the caller’s mom who is known as the town virgin, at the age of 15 was then lured by a witch into the witch’s house to be raped by the witch’s son. The caller was born as a result of that rape.

If you listen to the earlier part at 15:00, when the caller was a child her witch father and a friend will drink her blood every birthday and also rape her on occasion in his occult rituals

When the caller’s mom remarried to her step father, her step brother who is 16-17 year old will routinely rape her since she was 7 years old. And this lasted for 2 years.

[PHANTOM]
In all your fantasies, you always knew
that man and mystery ….
[CHRISTINE] were both in you.

[CHRISTINE & PHANTOM]
And in this labyrinth where night is blind,
the Phantom of the opera is here

(Together At The Same Time)
Inside my mind [CHRISTINE]
Inside your mind [PHANTOM]

Lets now examine Christine’s claim that in all her fantasies, she always knew that man and mystery were both in the Phantom himself, who lives in her mind

To understand further, we need to examine the meaning of the words “man” and “mystery”

In the Book of Genesis :

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

In the Book of Colossians, Paul wrote :

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints.

To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.

( Context : https://biblehub.com/esv/colossians/1.htm )

Hence in short

Man = Humanity, male and female, made in God’s Image

But because we fell from grace, hence

Mystery = Christ Within Us

Once we have Christ within us, we shall be restored unto our original glory to reflect God’s image

Note though, in the script, it is not the Phantom who finish the sentence, it is Christine herself who finishes the sentence

By Christine admitting that the fantasies that she has is found in the phantom, the glory of both definitions of humanity and mystery above, is given over to Phantom and in exchange Christine is given the Phantom’s glory, the music of the night.

And since the Phantom is inside Christine’s mind, its an internal process involved where Christine trades her humanity and God’s glory for her, away, in exchange for the Phantom’s glory

Another way to see it is, since Christine is a woman

In dualism there is only

1 ) Man

2 ) Woman

the third component is unseen, the mystery

In a trinitarian structure there is

1 ) Man ( God’s Image )

2 ) Woman ( God’s Image )

3 ) God

So by Christine ceding the regard of “man” and “mystery” to the Phantom, whom is within her mind, there is only “woman” left

Christine will be alone, barren

And in the music we do notice how Phantom whom is supposed to be within Christine’s mind, competes against Raoul for Christine

Fascinating right ?

In the musical itself , in the end I teared when the Phantom tells Christine : I love you

It’s because I self identified with the Phantom’s defects and Christine chose Raoul whom embodies a form of perfection which I do not have at the moment

But we should not forget that the Phantom justifies his abuse and murder of people by the virtue of being himself the victim of injustice through abuse and ostracism due to his hideous face

As intuitive as the Phantom’s logic sounds, two wrongs do not make a right

Its a dangerous and beautiful seduction that we should sympathise with the Phantom’s sentiment, justifying evil deeds because we ourselves were victims of evil

By turning victimhood into a virtue and a means to justify the abuse and murder of others, changes evil into virtue and seduces you to do the same with your life

It is common for the dark arts to invert the good for evil and evil for good

RAOUL whom embodies a form of perfection is cast as an antagonist, RAOUL in a sense represents Jesus in this musical

The darkness is portrayed as a form of virtue or power while the light is shunned as cold & unfeeling

We need to see things correctly for what they are, because

If our eye is evil, our whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in us is darkness, how great is that darkness!

By contrast, the teaching of Jesus is that the Father is the only source of virtue and Him only shall we serve, and by merging ourself with the embodiment of virtue personified by the person of JESUS, we conceive known clear manifestations into reality thru the Holy Spirit and effect real world change without the need for hypnotisation or deception

Treatment & Prophylaxis ( Cure & Prevention )

First its important to note that the Phantom did not force himself into Christine’s mind, it is Christine whom herself seek the Phantom’s guidance and musical glory

This is very important

It highlights the golden rule, the Phantom can only come in because Christine first opens the door to him

Or rather, it is Christine who decides to approach the mirror when the Phantom called her name

There is an element of choice here. This is not fate or posession.

But once he comes in or once we are in the Phantom’s realm, its hard to break free because the Phantom is very manipulative

Symbology, occult or not, by itself is only a mode to communicate

A very sophisticated way to communicate on many layers, both to the seen and the unseen audience, liminal and subliminally.

Deception has to do with lying and preaching wrong perceptions of reality.

The force of darkness has only one power, deception.

To be deceived is to believe in their lies. A deceived person is one who is led astray into potholes or worse, cliffs.

Lies are everywhere though, so it’s not a question how we can avoid lies.

The correct question is, how do we have an immune system to lies ?

The Enemy’s goal is to steal, kill and destroy but have no fear, the cure is readily at hand !

All you need to do is to be honest, first admit that you are going through this and then proceed step by step to process the information below logically and rationally

This should recalibrate your perception and you must repent of your past behavior

This narrow bridge is the only hope for all humanity

The key question to begin is, why Christine had the need to receive the Phantom’s glory ?

How was she raised up ? How was her father as a parent ?

Where is her mother ? How is her relationship with her ?

What values and form of teaching did her parents leave her with ?

All these questions contributes to Christine’s sense of self worth

A lack of inherent self worth is a vacuum which invites the notion that one can build our self worth on our utility value for other people, be it for their pleasure or simply economic demands

And whenever someone gets any good at their utility value / ability, this is a backdoor in ones mind left open for the callings of beings as the Phantom

According to the Phantom’s line of preaching, to achieve great musical accomplishment everything must be sacrificed and one must dedicate all unto this specific task in order to succeed.

That may make sense in a specialisation kind of way I suppose, dedication is important to achieve mastery. And by extrapolating that, the dedication of all will surely result in absolute mastery.

But the question deserved to be asked is, what is the purpose of this great musical accomplishment anyways ?

What kind of world does it create ? What is the effect of this great musical achievement on society ? How does it shape it ?

Or is it just simply for fortune, fame and power ? If so what is the purpose of that fortune, fame and power ?

What would you do when you get it ? What would you do when you lose it ?

Myself personally, I sort of been through a similar arc in my life

I held a belief that in order for me to be loved, I must have material wealth

I made sacrifices and gave all I got to achieve it, I even did things that I was not proud of

When I reached the height of my wealth, I realised I took the wrong path and sank into despair because love was nowhere to be found

But then, Love found me and its the story of my life here https://famecherry.com/love/one-kg-of-love

My experience made me realise the existence of the backdoors in our minds put in place by the hidden hand

We can close all these backdoors by understanding each of them to the point that we can replicate their utility

The common backdoors are branched from the area of :

Money – https://famecherry.com/money

The above is for plugging our backdoors and to protect us from making wrong decisions based on deception

For what is the world but an interaction of seemingly infinite number of daily decisions by everyone on Earth ?

What is life’s journey but a composition of daily decisions ?

Decisions matter ! The decisions you make, makes the story you write in reality

In other words, the decisions you make, makes who you are and thru you, makes the world

Another way to put it, you progress in your identify through your decisions, hence through your decisions you contribute to the world of the future

That is why beliefs are very important because beliefs have absolute real world consequences

It’s therefore important for honest examination of each and every thought in ourselves so that the world we create becomes better daily

Yet do you know that we can also go on offence against the Kingdom of Darkness ?

From all the cases I known about, people who fully follows the Phantom and sacrifice themselves fully for their “art” ends up with broken lives and seclusion

However, we can dedicate all our being fully unto the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, doing so not only sets our lives in order with every step but we are joined by brethren now and eternal

This is the blueprint for paradise on Earth https://famecherry.com/constitution/

Thru Jesus we become the Sword of light which pierce the darkness

And there is a lot of darkness that needs piercing

I think we best get on to it

Nevertheless, the Kingdom of God shall advance

Good News

Alleluia
