Fashionista NOW: 10 Ways To Fringe It UP This Summer

There are many ways to wear fringe for the summer. We narrow down 10 fringe outfit ideas to help you pick the best fringe style to ease into your wardrobe.

Ever since being gifted a black sleeveless top with fringe at the hem by my sweet sister, I’ve been looking at the fringe trend through a new pair of eyes.

Thought I find the swingy pieces of fabric can still catch me off guard sending me off into an awkward wiggle fighting off an imaginary, elusive insect; style-wise based off the casual remarks of my closest beloved, I quite pull it off. So far, I’ve been liking my first fringe top pairing it with monochrome harem pants, not terribly minding their fringy presence except when I do. I’m weird like that.

For those of you who are ever in a state of wanting to get the best of fringe but can’t decide on which fringe piece to wear for the summer, the variety can be exhausting. From the much loved fringe kimonos to the boho fringe bags, there are countless of ways to have the swingy pieces of fabric add an unexpected textural edge into your wardrobe.

Besides fringe decorating edges of tops or jackets, it is also a feature on dresses, skirts, and vests. All you need to do is choose a fringed piece you like, wearing one with a fringe style you are most comfortable in. Consider the length, fabric and the way the fringe is positioned. Of course, you can be bold and mix two fringe items in one look but keeping it a fringe piece per outfit can be all you need.

As always, scroll away for some quick fashion inspiration courtesy of the fashionistas of Lookbook to see how you can best wear fringe this summer. Enjoy!
