You’ve heard of the gladiator sandals and the obsession with the footwear come summer had been/is still pretty intense. For 2016, a new hot footwear trend seems to be breezing into the scene of late and I’m unsure if I should dip my toes in them yet as pom poms on anything haven’t floated my boat at all just yet.

After ogling the diverse collection of pom pom sandals handmade with love by creative shoemakers on Etsy, I can see myself wearing some of the pom pom sandal styles that lean on the side of less pom poms and other embellishments.

I like that since they’re pretty O.T.T. you can wear them as the STATEMENT for your most neutral of wardrobes and if you’re a minimalist style queen bee, these cheerful boho sandals can be the lone LOUD piece of accessory to wear that says hey: I can be a quite the strategic maximalist!
