Fashionista NOW: Blouse Statement ~ High Low Fishtail Top Style

Need to spruce up your blouse selection? Here comes a dramatic high-low hemline interpretation!

I just spotted these and had to write about them because well, the contrasting front and back hemline just stood out and since the blouse is also collared with front buttons and sweet subtle pleats, I fell in love.

For a blouse that has this statement fishtail design, you can’t go wrong pairing it with a fitted trousers ( pencil skirts ) and leggings that are structured enough on the front end so you will be spared from having a camel toe situation which no classy lady should ever have to experience, ever. Unless, it’s an honest mistake., which we sometimes do, in the name of fashion. In that case, it’s all good.

This breed of long back hem top comes from a clothing label called Calacara and they do ship worldwide! I’ve only come to know about the Malaysian-owned boutique thanks to ZALORA Malaysia and felt that they have quite a cool and contemporary clothing styles that can’t be missed if you love stretching your style boundaries while maintaining a certain chic aura.

I also have to mention that I have a thing for a long trailing back hemline as it can appear cape-like so that in my mind, I’ll feel like a cool superhero of some sort. The fishtail blouse satisfies this inner fantasy of me while keeping the look sweet and feminine for days when I feel like celebrating my rarely-ladylike self.
