Fashionista NOW: Modern Flower Power – Graphic Floral Print Trend For 2012

Graphic florals that visually jump out from your outfit and ready to plant themselves on the nearest flower bed is in this sunny season. Fashion lovers of bold and graphic patterns will not want to miss out on this modern floral trend.

How does one capture the nuances of the modern graphic floral patterned piece? It’s unlike the very subtle blooming prints that the ultra feminine ordinarily love to wear nor is it something you’d typically see in your granny’s closet. But if she’s pretty hip for her years, let’s not burst her bubble. You can always opt to wear something that’s more rebellious.

This year’s flower-power fashion trend isn’t as psychedelic or as swirly as the trend of the 60s hippies. Expect bold in-your-face colors, with sharper and clearer edges. The prints are less romantic; more out there. Less saccharine; more attitude.

For some ideas on the modern twist of the floral trend, scroll down below for some visual nirvana.
