Jumpers, at this time of the year come in the most radiant variety that if you’re looking at the right places, you will find that they may as well be the new stylish garment perfect for the season.
Why jumpers, you wonder. They’re so sluggish, slouchy and oh so not really form-structurizing. They tend to hug you or just slouch all over you. Well, sometimes, that is just what we need, isn’t it?
Of course, this doesn’t mean you are planning to look your drabbest. No silly. Jumpers in solid bold colors, soft pastels, neutrals and even ones that carry prints and patterns can be such easy-to-grab-no-fuss-to-wear staple that can actually look just as good as other tops.
Jumpers, if I may be so bold as to flaunt my opinion as I always shamelessly do, should be owned not just for those hazy lazy groggy days when you’re looking for comfort wear, but especially for the fact that they are the coziest, most understated chic alternative to the usual blous-y top!
They bring warmth. They make you feel like even when it’s chilliest outside because of flakes of snow or monsoony droplets of rain or an internal bout of emotional chills, that you are perfectly okay and that you will not shrivel up from the cold spell of weather or/and general loneliness.
The Christmas jumper is one of the jumper trends that we’ve all seen in the clothing stores. Although it started out as a Christmas gift that most would be glad not to be at the receiving end, it has now become a garment so commercialized that it’s turned itself into a chic trend the young seems to be besotted with.
Have a look at the roundup of lookbookers all decked out in jumpers and tell me if they don’t emanate effortless chic!
So, will you kick it back in an effortlessly chic jumper this Christmas? The best way to look good without looking like you’ve put in any effort, I’d say! Merry Christmas darlings!
