Weather the tropical monsoon with these 7 ankle boot styles that promise dressing for the rainy day can be as fun as when it’s sunny.
Aside from the glorious oxfords, I’m definitely a bootie gal as I’ve recently found myself fantasizing of wearing them with all sorts of outfits but alas, the monsoon season here is laced with lethal humidity and I don’t want to smother my feet. If you’re wondering where the cool boots are that can be worn in the backdrop of rainy yet also humid Malaysia, be sure to ogle the list below real quick. Some of these booties are so affordable and are on sale because hey, it’s December, so you might as well grab them right now, right?
Oh and by the way, the boots I’ve picked out go as far up as the ankle region because any higher than that is just going against the weather, unless all you want to do is hang out in a completely artificially chilled building and never set foot out beyond the concrete, then you may opt for the taller variety of boots that are in stock on ZALORA. The alternating chill and humidity here is rather too real for me personally to be sporting tall booties.
Here we go:
The beige shade is a win because you’ll get to wear this with any type of outfit and that is what we want!
With these to complement your outfit on a rainy day, you will never experience wrinkly cold feet ever again.
You know what I love about these? Those side zippers and the subtle texture on them.
Love me all shades of brown this season and this chunky bootie is making me swoon.

Obviously, there must be a bootie in grey or else, the monsoon boot list is incomplete.
Boots that are extra chocolaty is a must. I love the low heel on this boot and the textured bit at the back.
Here’s a shiny and pointy bootie iteration that is also kind of platform-y and creeper-style like in a shade I really love: red wine!
Which of them booties do you like best? Do share your favorites below – your thoughts are very appreciated and you know, I will reply.
