Baju Raya 2017 Idea ~ Mod Kurung Style With Balloon Sleeves

Up to the eyeballs with bell sleeve kurung and wonder if there is any other sleeve style to try. Well, you’re looking at one: Balloon sleeve.

These gorgeously-designed modern kurung style by PIKAT KL spells REGAL. The instant I saw the kurung, I knew it will appeal to the ladies who are BIG on wearing dresses that ooze elegant sophistication.

The V-neckline is a favorite of mine when it makes it appearance on modern kurung top as it’s always elongating and brings focus on the neck. The balloon sleeves have the old-world aura you just cannot ignore and if flared sleeves in general don’t really float your style boat, perhaps, something balloon-y like this would appeal.

The subtle peplum waist is a nod to the much-loved flared waist trend Malaysian fashionistas can’t do without. The long maxi skirt in particular is appealing to me as it’s cut narrow as opposed to the usual mermaid silhouette.

The Helena kurung set comes in three options: emerald green, maroon and patterned brocade. All of them will complement your womanly graceful vibe this Hari Raya so do grab the one you like before it goes missing. Enjoy!
