Going retro this party season? Here’s a list of retro-inspired dresses that are marvelously elegant, simple and forever a classic.
There are many retro party outfit styles to wear but one thing’s for sure, a dress that has that classic silhouette, print or cut reminiscent of the yesteryear is far easier to slip into when one’s on a rush as opposed to organizing a complete outfit made of separate pieces.
Since I already have my eyes set on a few frocks that are kind of retro-inspired but also pretty contemporary that you won’t look too out of place or O.T.T., you will, as per usual, find the list to tease or inspire or aid you in hunting down your favorite statement piece below.
♥ | geometric print bodycon dress
I don’t usually care for bodycon dresses but this one has a pretty print, charming sleeves and a high round neckline that combine to make this a real must-have.
♥ | leopard midi bodycon dress
For fans of the leopard print, this midi dress is your excuse to unleash that inner party animal while keeping it supremely elegant at the same time.
♥ | patterned tie-back tulip dress
I love this dress so much and you can see why. The lovely three-quarter sleeves, tulip style skirt, high neckline and a versatile print make me drool! The dress is on sale so you might as well grab it fast because it will disappear soon!
Nothing beats a retro dress that carries sweet polka dots. This sleeveless dress comes with a belt.
♥ | retro geometric pencil dress
Just like the dress I was swooning about previously, this one is another awesome version of it thought a little different, rendered in a pencil cut and a gorgeous geometric pattern.
I love the sweetheart neckline, sleeves, polka dots and the midi length of this frock and consider it high on the must-have list.
This dress has a high neck, glamorous gold sparkle and bold zig zag motif that will surely make you stand out.
Do you like any of the retro dress styles shown above? Which one is your favorite? Delight us with your thoughts!

70s is definitely the thing to adopt now. I’ve a few flared jeans myself already =D I really like the polka dot midi dress and polka dot belted dress. I can totally see myself wearing those two =)
Hehe, it’s definitely a thing! I think the two dresses would look amazing on you. Thanks for popping by lovely :) xx
