It’s all about the denim this season. There’s no denying the relevance of the denim look and if you’re the kind of gal who must be in the comfort of dresses — guess what, you can have the best of both worlds clad in denim dresses!

We’ve raved about the denim-on-denim look in an earlier post and also on the versatility of the culottes. It looks like a marriage of denim and culottes is slowly entering into the very much exciting fashion scene this year. But that’s another topic altogether for I have my mind set on the denim dress; which can be worn simply on its own or layered up according to the need of the weather or setting.

I must confess that I’m rarely ever in dresses but have recently found that the shirt dress silhouette is pretty appealing and if rendered in denim or chambray, I feel like I could definitely work it into my wardrobe. After all, I’ve warmed up to culottes and also (a few) flared midi skirts, so a dress in a denim cut in a relaxed shape can be very well eased into my style comfort zone. Plus, anything in denim is just super easy to style thanks to its neutral color palette.
