From the toolbox to your earlobes: earrings inspired by screws and nails.
Nails and screws inspire some of the most memorable bling bling that I’m often tempted to stop everything else when I spot them. With the season’s statement earrings a hot trend in the jewelry 2017 sphere, it’s time to check out what’s hot and ready to be worn on earlobes that will get eyeballs locked.
It’s been a long while since I hammered a nail on the wall. Hammering nails on the wall sounds so retro. I believe in leaving the walls intact, free from unnecessary clutter. Tell that to a younger version of me, and I’d laughed as I plastered posters of my favorite boy band at the time: Backstreet Boys. As years add on to my age even as I remain young at heart, I have acquired a love for unexpected pendants or shapes being used to adorn the earlobes.
An exploring session on Etsy has me rounding up a total of EIGHT earrings that are inspired by nails and screws. Their unexpectedness is thrilling visually and I must say that they have made quite an impression that I cannot wait to grab a pair myself. For those wanting to nail the statement earring style with flair this season, the list below can be a start to your hunt for unusual earrings that will be a conversation trigger anywhere you go.
Enjoy!
