Fashionista NOW: The Year Of The Rooster 2017 Jewelry Inspiration

So, we’re edging into a new year and according to the Chinese zodiac, it will be the year of a rooster. If you’re on a hunt for a rooster-inspired jewelry to gift to yourself or someone else, then this post is for you.

I’ve rounded up a list of 7 highly-wearable and stunning rooster jewelry for your eyeballs to feast on so you may get an idea or two on the kind of bling that celebrates chickens. Though the chicken is often highlighted in all kinds of cuisines from all over the world, it is only today that I’m moved to check out the symbolism behind it.

The rooster as a Chinese animal symbol denotes honesty, physical and moral fortitude. It signifies fortune, luck, fidelity, protection and bossiness. It is also the universal solar symbol as the rooster crows in the morning, announcing the dawn of a new day. Living in the countryside, the crowing of a rooster in the morning is one of the most familiar nature sounds that is embedded in my memory and in this familiarity, I find comfort that just like the sun rising, the rooster does its thing, every single day.

With that said, let us look at the selection of rooster jewelry finds down below, shall we?
