How to do all white, like hardcore all white like a boss?

Dressing in all white is not as easy as it ought to be though you might think that it is. For one, some of us just don’t have white footwear (like me, as I stopped wearing them after I left high school ages ago).

And then, there is the reluctance to purchase a pair of white pants or skirt for that matter as the bottom part of a lady is quite an unpredictable species, especially during those very special yet annoying days of the month.

Tees in white or blouses in a colorless perfection; now that’s doable as we partner them with something colored down below. A dress in white is also kind of palatable especially the summery flowy kinds and the fact that we don’t have to fuss over the bottom part of the outfit makes all the difference. Nevertheless, if you own no footwear in white, you aren’t ever going to wear a hardcore all-white outfit in this life now, are you?

An all-white look must carry all-white pieces. Otherwise, it is going to be a majority white kind of look with sprinkles of accessories in other muted colors thrown in. It remains one of my pet peeves when I see a look labeled as all-white and then you spot the shoe and it definitely isn’t white. I just can’t!

Anyway: In my quest to dress light and clean, I’m attempting to wear an all-white outfit but that’s not possible yet as I am on hunt for the perfect footwear, bottom and bag in the color to team together, but what I can do now is eyeball the awesome total white looks these fashion-forward ladies have brilliantly pieced together. Enjoy!

Random facts about me: To say that I love Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ Downtown song is an understatement – it makes me want to move awkwardly in what I would call dancing but that would make real dancers cry. I had worn a NEW white tee weeks back and within a few minutes of gobbling up my dinner, a tiny little dot had comfortably planted itself in the fabric. Splendid!
