Rihanna wore her white oversized tee with side slits one time a few years back and the look kind of took off. Find out the latest shirt styles with the slits on the side and how to wear them.
Side slits usually decorate dresses which we all have witnessed but when these double splits come as a feature on tops, I start to do a double take whenever I see them on fashion bloggers. This style may be a bit intimidating when the slits are high on a dress but when present on tops, they can be pretty wearable for those who prefer having the legs hugged by some form of pants. A narrow skirt of the pencil variety would be a great piece to partner with the split top.
The idea is to keep the bottom fitted in comparison to the top as the split sides may introduce a flared shape along with adding movement, giving focus to your waist and the upper leg area. This way, instead of a leg flaunt, we get to highlight a sneak peek of our curves, from the side comfortably in our fitted pants or skirt.
Double side slits on tops and long tunics are undoubtedly hot under the fashion radar and on ZALORA Malaysia, the choices come quite aplenty.
As always, to help you locate the most eye-catching finds of this cool double split blouse style, I show you FIVE of my current favorites!
