I don’t know where I’ve been but I just fell in love with AfiqM’s Raya 2018 collection of kebaya sets and some of you will too by the end of this post if you haven’t been smitten with them already. When I first saw the monochrome kebaya sets with pearl adornments in particular, I felt something akin to a unique offbeat vibe to their designs. I don’t know what it is, but somehow, the kebaya sets in the minimalistic black and white combo felt edgy and rocker chic to me.

Perhaps, it was in the styling concept for the kebaya showcase but you cannot deny that this is something REFRESHING and unique as far as the variety of modern kebaya goes. When have you witnessed an edgy kebaya? If you have please do share because we can drool together. About the Malaysian designer who is a Negeri Sembilan native, he has been in the fashion industry for a while now! I cannot believe how far into the coconut shell I had been and I reside in the same state!

Another kebaya style by AfiqM that I love is his silver blue drape kebaya – the lace panel game is on fire! The cool tone and the kebaya blouse especially work together and the V-necklines on this and the previous kebaya style mentioned are a WIN. The form-fitting kebaya blouses in the sets truly captures the feminine shape in a style that is minimalistic but outrageously impactful. If you love a dose of edginess in your daily and festive wardrobe, it is so easy to fall in love with this kebaya collection by the genius designer.
