Fashionista NOW: The Stylish Ways You Can Still Sport Culottes Today

How to wear culottes in 2018?

Culottes, also known as the awkward length pants that flare are still around and street bloggers do break out in the trend every now and then as they give their mom jeans a rest.

While it might still be nippy where you are but not as much, culottes can be the transitional trousers to sport for that bit of a tease as you get to flaunt an allocated part of the calf and ankle. Wear with shoes, sandals or heels to set the style mood for your outfit of the day to your heart’s delight. My favorite footwear to pair with culottes is the basic sandal as it’s hot and humid here in Malaysia for covered feet. But if it’s pouring, ankle boots and sneakers will do fine too.

While the temps go out of kilter everywhere else this ‘Spring’, you can still make culottes work to match the weather temperaments. A lighter top for when the sun might come out behind the clouds. A knit cardigan to throw over it should the ball of fire decides to cancel its appearance for the day.

Without further ado, here are some stylish ways you can bring your A-game when you sport the culottes courtesy of lookbookers. Enjoy!
