Would You Wear Tops With Statement Slits?

Bored of your current collection of tees and tops? Update them with the ones with a side or back slit!

We’ve seen skirts and dresses decorated with side or back slits for mobility along with a chance to show off a peek of leg or sides of legs. With tees or tanks that feature a slit whether located at the side or back, there is the opportunity to flash a bit of waist or back depending on the design. But of course, with slits that go lower, you can escape from any flesh-flaunting and go for the visual impact as slits on the sides, can have an elongating effect, pulling your attention in and up.

When I first saw these slit tops worn casually last year, they reminded me of the traditional Indian tunic blouses with the shorter side slits. The modern introduction of side slits into tees is much more dramatic so you can be sure that they’ll be a favorite amongst the young and feistily fashionable.

If you find yourself interested in giving tops of this style a go, I’ve curated a list of SIX that may look good in your present wardrobe down below. Enjoy!
