Street Fashion KL has never been this edgy, fun and competitive before. Get your fashion and style fix with a bohemian flair closer to home this time.
After catching Sazzy Falak hosting How Do I Look? Asia on TV randomly one late night, I was taken back to a time when I and my sister were practically addicted to a local TV series called Gol & Gincu and just like that, I had fallen in love all over again with the petite, fun-loving and ever fashionable Malaysian actor and TV host. She’s a bundle of positivity and I had to google her to find out what she’s been up to and stumbled upon her own fashion label called Street Fashion KL.
I’d mistakenly thought it was a new, fresh-off-the-ground label at first, but apparently it had quite a history, starting off as SF by Sazzy Falak way back in 2012/2013 with batik as their main source of fashion love, which was stamped on various fabric like jersey, Lycra, cotton and chiffon. Her designs had gone global and was showcased at the New York Fashion Week in 2013.
Sazzy’s Street Fashion KL collection draws upon the bohemian and gypsy elements and is brimming with colors and patterns. The one unforgettable thing that stands out besides the vivid interplay of color and motif, is the relaxed-fit, flowy silhouette of her kimono outerwear collections that are a must-have for those with a bohemian streak. Sazzy is all about appreciating the love for batik, marrying it with other vintage prints and flinging it out of the traditional box and straight into the more edgy, urban styling that the fashionable species is currently obsessing about right now.
If you think that her collection is stripped clean from the sassiness of Sazzy’s own signature style, then you’re in for a surprise as her collection is the very reflection of how she personally dresses up. If you’ve been on her Instagram, you’d have seen how her love for flowy and carefree fabrics translate in her own personal wardrobe of choice.
Keywords: resort + holiday vibes on the daily.
Malaysian fashionistas including those in places where the sun dominates the calendar will surely appreciate the choice of fabric along with the summery vibrant motif utilized in the collection. SF is available in Malaysia and internationally.

Sazzy’s focus on creating flowy layering kimono collection (and renewing it) is a wise move as the lazy but clever fashionista can truly rely on a pop of patterned kimono outerwear worn over the most basic everyday outfit to give it an instant transformation.
