Happy International Women’s Day, everyone! Did you know that the lotus is a symbol of goddesses Lakshmi and Saraswati according to Hinduism? In Buddhism and Jainism, the lotus is held in high regards, revered as a symbol of transcendence, purity and non-duality.

Although feminism gets a bad rap in the western world, at the other end of the globe, it remains an important life-transforming movement for both women, men and their families.
