Forget elaborate statement ear cuffs when you can sport the minimalist variety that will go well with both your casual and dressy ensembles. Find our favorite modern minimalist ear cuff selection below!
One of the hottest jewelry trend spotted at the 2015 Oscars was in the form of statement ear cuffs worn by celebrities like Scarlett Johannson and Emma Stone. The Piaget ear cuff worn by Scarlett has the dangly bits which I don’t quite care for that much but the one that decorated the left ear of the darling Emma Stone is quite gorgeous in an understated way that we, the non-celebrity counterpart, can imagine ourselves wearing.
But then again, I much prefer an ear cuff that sits on the ear lobe (or the closest to the general ear area) instead of it dangling down or jutting too far out. I guess you could say that I like my ear bling bling to exude simplicity. And if you’re like me, equipped with very little patience and motivation to fuss over which pair off earrings to complement a certain outfit, you know very well the importance in investing in versatile jewelry — The kind that can be worn with any outfit.
So, if you’re on a hunt for ear cuffs or ear pins that are wearable for just about any occasion, from running errands in your slouchiest sweatpants to sipping lattes in your best brunch outfit with your ladies, I’ve rounded up a selection of 7 sleekest, minimalist ear cuffs that will work fantastic for both settings.

I LOVE ear cuffs, they’re gorgeous – I have one which I wear with my hair worn up or when I wear my hair swept to one side, it’s a little hoop and chain – I think I’ll need to feature it in a post soon, it just adds a lovely touch to your look! Hmmmm, your post is making me want to buy so many more haha! :)

Aww you must do a post on your little hoop and chain, then – I would so love to see it! Since you have one, why not have another one right? Hehehe. =D xo
These are lovely! I always wear ear pins or ear cuffs now instead of stud earrings. They are catchy and i get a lot of compliments.
That’s nice to hear! I agree: They are certainly eye-catching! Now, I just need to find one that’s perfect for my sensitive ear ;)
Thank you for sharing my earrings on your blog, with so many beautiful earrings
It’s an honor :)
Aw, thank YOU for stopping by with a lovely comment, Sigalit! I love your gold leaf ear cuff <3 =)
Thank you very much for including my earrings in this beautiful collection!
Thank you dear – Your earrings are stunning and it’s my pleasure to have them featured here :) xo
Wanted to say thank you for sharing my ear pins here! I got into ear pins in the first place because of their simplicity and ease to wear. I honestly am not that big of a “jewelry person” (despite designing and making it!). I love the idea and look of it, but I honestly find lots of it annoying to wear. I always found myself just wanting to take it off halfway through the day. Enter ear pins! I love that they just sit there on your ear, and you can just forget they’re there. I experimented with lots of different sizes and styles to find out what fit best, stayed put, and looked proportional to me. I think they’re a great alternative to studs, and I always get compliments on them. I love the other designs you featured here as well! Thanks again!
I think we are of the same mind when it comes to jewelry – anything too out there, heavy or clunky – I just can’t be bothered to wear! I’m the sort of person who feels that some mascara puts unnecessary weight on the lash (hahah, I’m serious!) But ear pins/cuff – this, I quite like as, like you said, we forget that they are on our ears/body. I like my jewelry to not be so dramatic and this compilation reflects that and hopefully appeals to those who share the love for minimalist jewelry. Thank you for your very thoughtful comment, Amy! I really appreciate it <3 xo
