Fashionista NOW: Kebaya Style + Flared Cuff Blouse Ideas For Raya 2016

Kebaya Style + Flared Cuff Blouse Ideas For Raya 2016

For late baju raya shoppers: I share with you two low-key classic blouse styles that can be incorporated into your Raya wardrobe in a jiff.

The first style draws inspiration from the traditional kebaya but made modern with the use of a single solid color, subtle ruffle detail and a self-tie bow back. The moment I saw this I thought it was just another blouse but those sweet buttons made me pause as they were a nod to the original kebaya top look. I love it, especially the ones in neutral colors. The one in bold blue is great if you’re aiming to make a popping colorblocking statement this Raya.

The second blouse style has a more streamlined, will-go-with-anything vibe. Instead of the huge bell sleeves, the flared cuffs keep it chic without being too roomy. You can wear it with long skirts and fitted trousers, obviously. These come in soft blue, off white, blush and black.
