Fashionista NOW: How To Style A Long Cardigan Casually?

The weather is hot or cold without notice in the tropics. Allow a long cardigan to come to your rescue.

So, finally today, I got to whip out my ankle boots and wore them with tapered skinny jeans because it was a cold and rainy day and that was quite a rare combination for the regular existence in the tropical Malaysia. Boots rarely make sense and the pair I wore gave me just the right amount of insulation. The cold weather made me think of long cardigans as well and you know they make for the perfect outerwear with movement to top over anything!

If you’re a fan of the longline cardigan style, then you know it can create a really cool contrast when worn over a tropical summer outfit that carries a pair of short shorts or a short skirt. I’d like to think that with cardigans of this length, you get to choose whether to make it the statement of your OOTD, or let it be the neutral piece that completes your visually-louder getup.

Whatever your choice happens to be, I’ll let you eyeball the looks below really quick to grab some instant long cardigan style inspo. Enjoy!

Which long cardigan outfit style is your favorite? Share below – I’d love to know!
