Denim shorts’ season is here! No matter what you think about your legs, it’s time to let the sun shine on them.
One of the most loved shorts that you bet you have in your closet is of the denim variety. When the sun is out and you want to put those legs out for kisses from the sunshine, nothing beats the versatility of denim jean shorts and you know it.
My current favorite style is the high-waisted kind in line with my love for mom jeans. There’s comfort in knowing your posterior and tummy are taken care off even as you allow your legs to breathe which is important, I feel, aside from style reasons. Those legs that get you from point A to point B could use some Vitamin D as well.
For the summer, denim shorts are not exactly mind-blowing but you know you can rely on their versatility. These shorts in a dark blue or pale blue wash can be your tropical summer go-to for when you want to step out casually. To dress a pair of denim blue shorts up, you know the drill by now: Wear a pretty dressy blouse, accessorize like a queen, pop on some dressy pumps, sneakers or flats and you’re about to slay it like no sweat.
If you’re running out of styling juice when it comes to the common denim shorts, relax and let these lookbookers inspire you with their take on the casual pair of short pants. Enjoy.
Which denim shorts’ style and look got you good? Share below – I’d love to know.
