Want to show off your feminine form through an on trend style? Then, you must go bodycon.
The bodycon (body conscious) trend is made for the body confident types. And if you’ve got an hourglass figure, why not flaunt it with a bodycon dress or skirt that has the season’s hottest prints.
What’s the difference between a bodycon dress/skirt with other garden variety dress/skirt?
The bodycon style is all about tight-fitting figure-clinging designs/materials. It is obviously not for the faint hearted. If you’re proud of your curves and appreciate clothes that showcase your feminine silhouette, the bodycon dress/skirt may just be a grand piece to include into your summer wardrobe.
The bodycon dress has been said to work especially wonderful on slim to curvaceous figures and that it is however not the best of trends to sport for pear/apple shaped figures and those with broader upper body. With that said, don’t let that stop you from trying it out for yourself.
The very reason that causes people (of all body shapes) to shun the bodycon style lies in the level of comfort they have with their own bodies.
While a lady with a broader chest and narrow hips may rock the trend if she chooses to, the masses are so used to seeing an hourglass figured bombshell in tight clothing that they would automatically hold opinions that other body shapes should stay away from such trends.
If you are comfortable in your skin, no matter what your body shape is, I’d say just go ahead and wear it!
