The underwater-inspired fashion is one that we don’t hear about that much. But did you know that it had made an appearance on the fashion runways for Spring/Summer last year?
Versace’s mermaid adorned totes and Chanel’s shell clutches were all paraded by models on catwalks of the previous year but the trend did not catch on. While corals and crustaceans were all celebrated on the high stage, perhaps all we need right now to get a splash of the ocean back into our wardrobes is some quirky fish prints.
