A partial solar eclipse will take place on the afternoon of Oct 23rd where the moon will appear as though it’s eating the sun. To celebrate my affinity for the moon, let’s immerse our fashion taste buds with some moon-inspired outfits.
I love gawking at the moon breathing in the sweet night breeze and letting nature fills the space within. They say it’s one of Mother Nature’s free therapy for the soul and it is true for me. Nothing beats the sight of a full moon in October when Halloween’s just around the corner, don’t you think? Deepavali (Diwali) or the festival of lights, interestingly coincides with the darkest new moon night of the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika.[1]

I didn’t know about the partial solar eclipse coming up! It’s so cool how you’re making an article around that! I love the moon print, but I don’t have any in my closet. I do, however, have a couple of moon rings that I like to wear! If I had a moon print top, I’d style it with lots of crystal jewelry and all black, of course, to give the moon print a bit of light, haha! I LOVE La Carmina’s and Annie’s outfits! I adore how their hair and the cool tones of their outfits that match the cool vibe the moon gives off!

Crystal jewelry + Moon + All black – I can almost visualize it in my mind! Crystals would be twinkling ‘stars’ and the all black garb would be the night’s sky. I love it! Hehe, thank you for sharing how you’d personally style your moon-inspired outfit, Diane! I too, adore La Carmina and Annie’s outfits cool and edgy vibe. I especially like that coffin purse! =D
