Fashionista NOW: Electric Blue Fashion Inspiration

Are you looking for a color trend that will boost your charisma and uplift your sense of style? Well, there’s a cool shade that would help you do just that. Read on.

According to Look Magazine, blue was the hue of the moment at the Emmy Awards as showcased by quite a number of dresses worn by starlets like Zooey Deschanel, Nicole Kidman, Heidi Klum and Michelle Dockery.

Although the color was hyped up as the hue to highlight Spring fashion this year, it is still a color that keeps showing up as the year progresses and the temperature changes. The blue color trend is indeed refreshingly versatile as the varying shades of the color prove to be a favorite on the runways as well as on the streets.

Kirsten Stewart was spotted wearing an eye-catching electric blue lace dress at the 2012 Kids Choice Awards. Her elegant look was completed with a pair of suede pumps in the same shade.

Blue in a vibrant bold tone is a chic and elegant color that just oozes of charisma especially when paired with neutral monochromatic white and black. The color casts an aura of prestige and strength to the wearer.

Don’t like that it’s too out there? Pick a soft pastel blue that makes you think of the deep ocean and wear the color in your acccessories if you’re not ready to don a completely blue fashion theme. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a fresh Autumn fashion color, Olympian blue is highly recommended as it is an understated and mysterious tone.

For many whose most loved color is blue, you’ll find the selection of lookbookers in their best bold blue ensembles a lovely inspiration to transition your wardrobe should you feel like so.

What do you think of the vibrant blue shade in fashion? Do you think you’d be able to carry the blue trend off? Share your thoughts below.
