Fashionista NOW: Casual Fashion For Your Sunny Day Out

The old Malaysian sunny weather calls for a fashionable yet practical outfit for a day out in the sun. If you’re running out of ideas, let us show you how you can look your best when the sun’s burning hot in the background.

And here are a selected fashion photos of stunning lookbook fashionistas to get you in the zone.

Welcome colors in your outfit as they will instantly lighten up your mood and others around you. The blue dress that Jenny Pham pairs with tangerine pumps and her chunky bag exudes a cooling effect in contrast to the warm fiery tone of the orange.

The combination of both colors are simply great for color-blocking.

A sheer maxi dress that bares the shoulders is another alternative. The key to looking exceptionally good, my dear, is in the details. In the picture above, Lini Trinh wears an attractive intricate anklet, a necklace of a similar design and her toenails are painted in pink, to go with the pink floral of her dress and that chunky pink ring.

Wearing short shorts on a sunny day is the most practical way to liberate your skin from heat. Fashion for sunny day is not complete without them! Kryz Uy wears a dramatic salmon toned cape blouse with a turquoise satchel and a pair of beige brown booties with leopard prints at the base.

The cape creates a stunning flowing and dramatic contrast to the tiny prompt shorts.

Another way to spend your sunny day out is to put on a stylish paint splattered skirt and a silk top. To create a cooling aura that emanates from your outfit, it’s best to stick with cool colors such as blues, purples and greens.

Jenny Ong wears a denim jacket over her two toned sheer blouse and ‘limelight’ shorts. The bright warm colors are toned down a notch by the black color of her sandal wedges and handbag.

Stephanie wears a metallic sheer sleeveless blouse with a pair of eye-catching black and white tribal shorts and brilliant red peep-toe heels.

A sleeveless dress is a vital staple for a sunny day outfit. And a hat is a practical if you desire to protect your face from the sun. Linda wears a breezy light lace dress, marvelously perfect for a sunny day stroll.

For a minimalist and understated casual ultra feminine look, introduce white, cream, beige and pink tones into your outfit. The lovely fashion lover from Ottawa wears a baby pink top with a subtle leopard print skirt, a white hat, white handbag, and a pair of beige heels that elongates her legs.

So what do you ladies think of our suggestions of outfits suited for the sunny day fashion? Do you like them? Will you use these ideas to incorporate a fashionable look for that day out? Remember to put on some sunscreen and bring your shades too!
