Even though it’s broadcasted that the weather is expected to turn monsoon-y, the days are still beautiful and sunny with very little rain pour that we could all use to update our Malaysian summer wardrobe with a few airy pieces that are stylish and most importantly: affordable!
I’ve not shopped online for ages due to my own self-imposed restriction as I believe that it’s best to spend on food and experiences than to overload an already hopelessly overloaded wardrobe. But let me get real: I do spend more on food than on anything else.
Since my favorite sling studded bag I got from ZALORA has now finally shown signs of decay ( after years of wearing it everywhere ) – the faux leather piping is detached in some parts, so it’s like faux fringe but not that cute – I told myself that I need to get it together!
But, this isn’t a bag post, as I totally distracted myself with the new clothing section on ZALORA Malaysia instead. After spending time looking through all the available pages like a possessed robot, I zeroed in on a list of 7 tops and skirts that would make my summer fantasy wardrobe completer.
Ladies: If you’re wondering what’s new and trendy to wear that will not create a fat hole in your pocket and can be worn many, many times, then please do eyeball the list below. Enjoy!
Flowy White Rounded Hemline Top
Grid Print Pleated Culottes
Mini Wrapped Skirt
Plaid Boxy Top
Scalloped Tank Top
Tie Dye Midi Skirt
