Do you find it hard to style leopard prints? Fret not, allow us to show you how sporting a leopard print is an easy thing to do especially if you employ this very basic trick!
My love for leopard print is strong as it remains of my favorite wild animal prints. I have too many leopard print pieces in my wardrobe that I’ve pretty much banned myself from getting anything else in leopard for as long as I possibly can.
This summer, leopard print is one of the trends that you want to be spotted in besides, snake and zebra prints.
In the late 90s and early 2000s, animal prints were not embraced warmly, considered tacky and a serious fashion crime, even by the standards of my very unfashionable teenage self. Time does weird things to our collective tastes in fashion and it’s nothing new given the predictable cyclical nature of fashion trends.
Something so ugly can be the cat’s pajamas just with the passing of time but like all things in life, we must remind ourselves not to be pulled by the waves that float trends in fashion And leopard print is one of those. While I love the wild animal vibe and the charming signature pattern of the leopard spots, I admit that going head-to-toe in it is completely out of my comfort zone.
The looks that I usually like from those who wear leopard usually involves a single patterned piece of the wild animal motif and the rest, kept in solid color(s) so the focus is on the print. And this is that little trick we should all employ whenever a print proves to be very visually bold and busy.
So, if you’ve got leopard patterned clothing/bags/shoes gathering dust somewhere in your closet because you just don’t know how to go about styling it, rely on the looks styled by these fashion-forward fashionistas and you too can start walking on the wild side stylishly this season in leopard!

I’m not one who’s too keen on animal prints. Although, what Valentina Rios is wearing looks really good! That’s the only one which I wouldn’t mind exploring.
Valentina does look good in that outfit, I so agree! And I am sure you will good in a similar style skirt as well. I think leopard is just another rebellious version of polka dots, hehe ;) xx
Lovely post about this sharp rising trend, thanks for the feature xx
So sweet of you to stop by, Marie! This sharp rising trend is my favorite, hehe =D xx

Claudine’s skirt is smartly styled, I love that she keeps the rest in muted black. Thank you so much for swinging by Ingrid!! :D xxx
