Fashionista NOW: The New Asymmetrical Hemline Trend in Tops 2016

The New Asymmetrical Hemline Trend in Tops 2016

No longer confined to the high-low kinds – Find the new look in asymmetrical hemline tops and blouses here.

Remember back when the asymmetrical hemline in tops used to be of the high-low design variety? It seems like that’s ages ago. With fashion quenching her thirst for the new, rebellious and sometimes utterly unexpected, the new asymmetrical hemline witnessed in tops and blouses now is quite dramatic in its execution.

The two statement styles that stand apart as observed on the virtual shelves of ZALORA Malaysia are the sweater-like top by Stylenanda that looks as though a piece of fabric has been chopped off to reveal the right side of your midriff.

The other more affordable selection comes from Something Borrowed’s rendition of their asymmetrical drape top that has a drastic diagonal slash with one end of the top’s hem pointing downward. This cut in particular is elongating when paired with a form-fitting bottom.

Do I personally like the two styles? Honestly, the one by Stylenanda is a bit too much for me but I can see how it can look really good on some people. The more wearable asymmetrical blouse by Something Borrowed is more in style comfort zone.
