Embroidered things have taken up the space in the current wardrobe of today’s fashionistas. Grandmas all over the world and their grandmas (some in another world) are beyond proud.
It’s everywhere, apparently. And I’m still not quite sure whether to jump into the embroidery bandwagon or resist and then slowly find myself at its behest when everyone else quietly leaves the trend behind.
When fashion bloggers started wearing embroidered clothing like a year back or two, I thought this trend would never take off. Now, everyone from the grannies to grandkids and their pet dogs are wearing something embroidered. In fact, my own mom and sis have been caught wearing blouses with embroidered details on them and I knew it, the fashion gods are adamant about keeping the trend on the top shelf and whether you personally care for it or not, you might just shock yourself into wearing one.
I’ve seen embroidery sneaking up on footwear, bags, denim jackets, tops and bottoms, dresses and your face. Oops, the last bit was a joke. The fact is you don’t need convincing when it’s practically on EVERYTHING. I’m okay with those rose embroidered ones, but anything on a large scale may take over the whole wardrobe and that, I personally want to stay away from.
To get a clue on how the street style queens from across the globe are wearing the embroidery trend so you may be tempted to wear one with an easy style ease, just eyeball the looks down below and enjoy!
