In the mood for polka dots? Here’s the monochromatic way of wearing the print nonchalantly.
It’s finally monsoon over here and for some reason, I’m feeling like I’m up for for dots. Offbeat polka dot styling in monochrome style flavors in particularly. You know, the kind that makes you do a double take because it’s visually arresting, a bit unexpected but utterly charming?
I don’t know, sometimes, my eyeballs grasp things in ways even I can’t explain but can effectively show, in a bit via a list of lookbookers who knew how to work dots in their wardrobe department.
I mean, anyone can wear any prints but to make them a statement in a whole outfit? Now, that is another ball game. I think. Plus, the sass and attitude – these two count like a LOT!
I have three polka dotted tops in my repertoire, but since they’re tiny in size, the could very well be mistaken for other prints.
What I like about the polka dot pieces worn here lies in their bigger size range as well as the non-color palette making them recognizable even from a distance.
Enjoy the looks and grab a style inspo or two!

We cannot change the past, but we can change our attitude toward it. Uproot guilt and plant forgiveness. Tear out arrogance and seed humility. Exchange love for hate – thereby, making the present comfortable and the future promising. — Maya Angelou
