Fashionista NOW: How To Style A Long Black Dress Casually?

Credit | Yuko Tanaka

Stuck in style dilemma? Here are some ideas on how to wear your long black dress casually.

I just got myself a long black dress made of cotton and wondered if I should shorten the length and I realized that I have no love for the maxi length. I don’t know why but I will confess that I love a peek of legs and long swaying fabric feels rather heavy for me even though it is of breathable material. However, I decided to take it up as a challenge to wear the maxi black dress as it is. Before long, I found myself snooping at how others are wearing their long black frocks on Lookbook for some instant fashion inspiration.

If you’re in the possession of a long black dress that you have no clue on how to style it for some reason, I hope you will find some helpful style ideas from the looks I’ve gathered below.

Even thought the black dresses come in various styles, you will see that the footwear of choice is often sandals! Which is great for me personally as I am a sandal-lover. For a relaxed dressed down vibe, sandals can definitely add something light to an all-black long dress.

Enjoy!
