The breezy sunny weather makes me want to slip into a flowy white dress and run around pretending I am a kid playing happy ghost. This thought popped up randomly and I don’t even have an LWD in my closet, yet. Why you wonder? It’s the same reason why I don’t have white pants because I sit everywhere. I had a white tee, a soft cotton one, which was heavenly over my skin.

Now, it’s pale pink and deeper red in some places because the memo about washing whites separately escaped me. I wore the tee last night and got a tiny blob of yellow on it while slathering turmeric facial mask on my face. As far as my relationship with white garments goes so far, it’s pretty tragic.

So, imagine me in a new LWD. I shudder. Perhaps, I’ll be extra careful this time. Perhaps, I could get the used-to-be-white tee off-white at least, somehow. Google will definitely have an answer for me, that I know!

Back to the topic: For those who are seeking to sport a little white dress while exuding a casual vibe on a happily sunny evening, the way to do it easily is to have your shoes looking comfy or worn. Sneakers and any practical running shoes are best. Of course, you can team a pair of espadrilles or flip flops or birkies or flat mules or a furry slip-on footwear with your frock. Shoes set the mood. So, anything casual-looking will do.

A white dress that spells casual can be in the form of a tee dress, shirt dress, skater dress or a bodycon dress. Depending on the level of body confidence you experience on that particular day, you get to decide whether to wear a dress that liberates or flaunts your curves.
