For a dose of quirky this season, smiley face prints may just be what your wardrobe needs.
Jeremy Scott, creative director of Moschino reworked the label’s signature smiley face motif and made it ooze with the right level of quirkiness as it became part of Katy Perry’s endless eclectic concert-worthy outfits as she kick started Prismatic World Tour earlier this month
Her smiley-face-themed getup consisted of peace-sign printed leggings, bralette bustier and a vibrant yellow leather jacket with strategically placed smiley faces.
Luxurious breed of totes and bags rendered in unexpected designs are Anya Hindmarch’s specialty and the British fashion accessory designer has just unleashed her pre-Autumn collection that includes smiley face bags amongst other quirky bags such as Ginger Nuts clutches, Kellogg’s cornflakes’ totes and Coco Pops clutches.
Aside from decorating luxury bags and Katy Perry’s concert getup, smiley faces are also found stamped on tees, skirts, pants and dresses at affordable rates ready to be consumed by the trendy masses.
If you’re one to wear quirky statement pieces this season, this is an all-time print style that will no doubt ease some fun right into your summer attire and can be worn for years to come.
