The season for cardigans is here. Oversized and color-friendly, they are the new wardrobe showstopper. Find out how to make a cardigan statement with your wardrobe with the help of our favorite picks.
Knit cardigans with an oversized construction are the best. Coupled with colors, they make not only the coziest staple but also an easy focus of your wardrobe. The slouchier they are, the better they fit into the mood of this seasons’ uber-relaxed style inclination.
Have an oversized colored knit outerwear rotting somewhere in the closet? Now is the time to dig out the versatile layering piece and style it up with the help of our favorite fashion imagery below:
Layer a maroon red cardi over an all-black getup and give a color booster to your wardrobe. A dose of color in a solo piece like this is all you need to amp up your style if you’re color-shy.

An espresso-toned slouchy cardigan eased into a neutral garb made of t-shirt and slashed-in-the-knee pants takes the casual into cozy trajectory. Tan boots keep the look rustic, perfect for Autumn.

Top a grungy look off with a dark green cardi. The green from the outerwear lifts off the predictable color palette of denim blue and black taking it into the next level.

Feeling a little feisty? Choose a bright magenta colored cardigan to energize a charcoal black ensemble. The striking contrast from the cardi that goes with the lip color is a clever way to tie the look together.

A dark broody purple cardigan worn with the combo of mustache tee and checkered short skirt is an option for an outfit that already features graphic and color. Slouchy with cape-ish silhouette, this cardigan is an ultimate statement-maker.

Thank you Jasmin :) So sweet of you to swing by as I really appreciated your thoughts and comments <3 xx
I love oversized wear especially during the autumn/winter time because it acts like a blanket that I can wear anywhere! Hehe. I’ve been enjoying where monochromatic colors, either all black or all white, so wearing an oversized colored cardigan allows me to give my outfit a pop of color to make my outfit more fun and vibrant! I liked Solymosi’s set; the colors are muted, but the pops of mustard yellow makes everything a little brighter! Have a wonderful weekend, Shanaz! (:
