Sheer mesh fabric lends a nice textural and visual interest into any outfit. Wonder how to ease mesh back into your wardrobe even as the temperature flip-flops, click on.
Celebrated earlier in the year as a Spring/Summer 2014 trend, you may find the idea of wearing mesh now a little outdated. But since we are all no slave to fashion, then extending it into the cooler season is so doable as long as you style it right.
A mesh paneled top or a skirt can be layered strategically with the right outerwear to suit the weather’s temperament. In any case, don’t put your mesh-accented pieces away just yet! They can be the versatile layering piece needed to amp up your wardrobe’s flavor with a tasteful peek of flesh.
Although bright and bold mesh fabrics have been highlighted in Celine, Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu Autumn 2014 collections, there is the peace in knowing that as the creator of your own style, you need not be obligated to go bold when you can stick with the classic colors.
For me, black mesh tops are my go-to, specifically the ones with shoulder peek-a-boo detailing. Skirts with mesh panels at the hemline do nothing for me as I find the lines distracting and have the tendency to direct unnecessary focus on my legs.
Anyway, for exciting ways to wear black mesh stylishly this season, dive in below:
