Want to wear your cozy sweatpants out but afraid of being labeled as a slob of a dresser? Guess what? This year’s favorite sporty and normcore trends have placed comfort as priority and you should take full advantage of this minimalist mood that’s taken over the fashion scene.
When fashion goes back to the familiar comfort-worshiping roots, your most low-key of garbs become a versatile piece. In case you imagine that all variety of sloppy dressings are IN, you may need have to rethink as there is a very thin line that separates the self-aware relaxed styling with an aim to remain on trend and the could-not-be-bothered mindset that jumps straight into hobo territory.
So, how does one take a pair of characterless gray sweatpants typically worn for muscle-flexing or lounging about into a wardrobe that has some semblance of style? The answers can be found below:
♥ gray jogger pants – Gatsby | Frances Estrada
♥ gray sweatpants – Reserved | Paulina Rudnicka
♥ sweatpants – Uniqlo | Kaitness
♥ sweatpants – Style Stalker | Casey David

“Stick to the classics, and you can’t ever go wrong. I see old ladies on the street who have fabulous style and realize it’s because they are probably wearing really classic items that they’ve had for years and years. I think if you find something that suits you, you should just stick to it.” — Alexa Chung

Haha, omg, I just styled this in my previous post! It’s funny how we do a lot of things simultaneously (sorta because I am just now reading this), hehe. I love joggers because I feel like they’re chic and trendy sweatpants! And the variety of joggers that stores sell now can easily be dressed up or down or as its own statement piece! I especially liked Frances’ look because of the small pops of color coming from her accessories and top!
