6 gorgeous ways to wear the pale blush pink color trend (and more!) this season.
Pink is one of the color trends for Autumn/Winter 2014. Pale muted pink hues in particular, are the chicest way to dip your toes into the trend. Considered a neutral feminine tone, fashion designers Louis Vuitton, Prada, Nina Ricci, Burberry Prorsum, Céline, Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Jil Sander featured the beautiful barely-there hue in their collections this year.
The dusty light pink made a similar appearance last year for the same seasons indicating the versatility of the pastel pink hue which was so universal that it was a trending color for Spring 2014.
Delicate romantic hues are no stranger to bridal dresses and wedding themes. Pink is considered the new white by Vera Wang whose Autumn 2014 bridal collection is drenched in 4 vibrant shades of pink. On the street, fashionistas with a minimalist take on the color trend will appreciate the presence of dusty blush-y pink whetherr as an all-over monochromatic look or highlighted strategically on a blazer, tote or heel.
If you think that blush pink is reserved for girlish outfits, think again. Below are our favorite blush-worthy looks that feature the pale pink shade in various outfit forms for your fashion inspiration:
Nerea from Corazon de Maniqui goes for the floral and pink combo which is a classic girly interpretation. She makes it modern by teaming a floral crop top with a skater skirt rendered in soft pink. Dark brown booties anchor down her feminine look.
♥ powder pink top – Daniel Rainn
Toughen up the ethereal fairy dusty pink top with black leather shorts the way Kat from With Love From Kat does it. Inject sexiness through footwear by wearing a black strappy heel. Add a statement clutch in leopard-like spots for a visual pop. Accessorize to taste.
♥ shirt – Zara | blush pink blazer – Stradivarius
Barbara from My Kind Of Joy takes the sporty route with a smart introduction of subtle color blocking. She wears a pale pink shirt layered with an oversized pale pink blazer and a pair of slightly distressed blue jeans to tame the delicate hue with a dose of casual. She then accesorizes with emerald green earrings, a green bag and a pair of Nike sneakers with green logo accent.
♥ light pink dress
60s mod dresses are pretty huge this year. Instead of going bold and graphic with color and pattern, keep it simple, sweet and demure with a blush pink high neck pleated dress. Kelsey from Kelsey Bang completes her ladylike number with a pair of crystal botanical earrings, a white bag and a pair of white strappy heels.
♥ sheer light pink outerwear – Trouve, Nordstrom
Cue in the effortless outfit rendition by Ruby from The Ruby Element as she keeps it youtful and casual with the pairing of a basic white cami top and a pair of high-waisted polka dot shorts. For coverage, she tops it all off with a long, sheer and flowy outerwear in dusty pink. White heels with ankle strap and a sprinkle of gold jewelry bring a little dressiness back into her laidback ensemble.
♥ soft pink blazer – H&M | pink quilted bag – Arafeel
Maddie from Call me Maddie opts for casual and sleek by topping off a white tee and denim combo with a soft pink blazer. Pale pink bag, minimal jewelry and white sneakers complete her minimalistic take on the color trend.

Wow thanks so much for featuring me!
You are most welcome Sophie! Than you for swinging by :) xx
Pale pinks are the prettiest! I feel like it’s a color that helps tone down a girly outfit and makes the outfit a bit more “mature.” I would style a dusty pink top with lots of leather to toughen up the look! And also gold necklaces to make the look a bit rose gold c:
