Designer Baju Raya ~ 7 Mod Monochromatic Outfit Ideas For Raya 2016

Ladies, if all you want to dress up in this upcoming Eid is something utterly modern yet reminiscent of the past with traditional silhouettes of baju kurung and kebaya being updated to appeal to the fashion spirit of the contemporary world; look no further than our local Malaysian designer, Rizalman’s latest Marmar collection.

I’ve not been as this thrilled as I was when I first set my eyes on his capsule collection for Raya 2016 for the first time when it decorated the virtual shelves of ZALORA Malaysia. The use of marble-inspired print and color, coupled with the elongating sleek shapes and glam vibes just fit perfectly into this box where I imagine all cool Eid-worthy pieces would be sitting as I’ve always loved when our local fashion designers making something traditional interesting again because they dare to infuse a bit of on current trend elements into it.

For fans of patterns or colors, the Marmar collection does carry a quite a selection of them. I, on the other hand, am obsessed with the monochromatic and grey pieces. Thus, the list below is of the SEVEN drool-worthy ones that I selectively plucked from Rizalman’s mind-blowing collection which will hopefully satisfy the needs of a fashionista that loves to impress in quiet sophistication on Raya.
