Fashionista NOW: How To Wear The Vinyl Skirt Fashion Trend?

The time to shine is right now. And you can do that via glossy skirts as that is where it’s at.

Whether you care for high-shine fabrics or not, the fashion goddesses have declared that vinyl plastic is happening in 2018, like officially. I don’t know who makes these things up but creating a sentence to portray the seriousness of this potential trend epidemic is quite my life and as long as you know how to be flexible within your own life, then mind not any explosion of trends because we wear what we like anyway.

I saw Keit aka Evilish Queeny (who is back blogging on her blog, by the way!) wearing her vinyl skirt and I wondered if it was summer-friendly and found out that it was for sure rainy-day-friendly because water will bounce right off. So along with an umbrella and practical shoes, vinyl or patent leather is perfect for the monsoon times.

In skirts specifically, I find the shiny vinyl palatable but of course, there are vinyl coats and pants as well. For those interested in wearing vinyl skirts but have a concern whether the look may translate on you, I’d say relax because as long as you want to wear it, you need to wear it for your own peace of mind.

For some style tips on how to street-style your vinyl skirt and slay, take it easy and plunge away with your eyeballs. Enjoy!

Which vinyl skirt style and look would you love to wear? Share below – I’d love to know!

“Self-compassion is like a muscle. The more we practice flexing it, especially when life doesn’t go exactly according to plan (a frequent scenario for most of us), the stronger and more resilient our compassion muscle becomes.”Sharon Salzberg
