Fashionista NOW: How To Dress Down A Red Dress?

Credit | AKin_Hon

Think it’s hard to pull off a red dress on a casual basis? Turn your attention to these street style bloggers as they show you how it’s done!

I’m one of those people who owns zero red dresses. The only top in HOT RED I had is now in the possession of my sister who has not been wearing it so I’m baffled as to why she is not passing it back to me, you know like the movie, Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants but in our scenario it involves the red top but whatever.

The lack of a red dress in my wardrobe could indicate that I’m shy of the bold color or/and don’t see an occasion that I want to make a striking impression of the sort. Perhaps, I will have to expand my mind a bit which I kinda did after seeing how various fashionistas wear their red frocks casually.

I know RED is just a color but I associate it so much with a boldness I’m yet seeing in my style. Maybe, this is the season for a change; one that I would embrace especially if I can remix it to express my uber casual side.

Enjoy the looks!

  • My favourite “red-look” is Ajla Hodzic’s, since it looks so classy paired with the jewelry and the beautiful bag. You’re absolutely right, red is a damn bold colour, but especially during the cold season I like using it to brighten (or rather warm) up my outfits! Stay fash and don’t hesitate to try red yourself! xx

I’ve recently acquired a love for red and burgundy clothing after I purchased a red jacket for work. I received so many complements. I think I avoided red clothing in the past because it drew too much attention.

Great article! I would never have thought to dress down a red dress, but I love the effect!
