Fashionista NOW: What To Wear To Brunch?

Are you having a brunch date with your friends this weekend and wondering how not to look like you’ve just pulled whatever that’s within reach from your closet without thinking? Worry not, we’ve got a few looks lined up that will get you ready in style for brunch.

Brunches are relaxing sessions of tea/coffee-sipping, dessert-indulging and more food-consuming done later after breakfast proper but preferably not after noon. With friends, this is the time to enjoy each other’s company, gossip, get/give advice sprinkled with a whole load of teasing, laughing and bickering.

Being able to look good while having fun means that when someone decides to whip out a smartphone and go snap-crazy, you’ll just have to smile and know that you’ll look amazing.

If you’re running out of ideas on what to wear for brunch with your BFFs, check out the selection down below. Our choice of outfits are best for casual to semi-casual look. Tweak the look of your outfit so that it goes with the setting where the brunch will take place.

If you love these looks, please hype them up!

Girly + Masculine

Girly down below, structured and masculine up top. Leopard purse adds accent to the look and black high heels complete the neutral ensemble.

Black and White

For a laid-back casual look for a brunch, pair a crop jacket over a stripe tank and finish off with black skinny jeans and white pumps. This look is very low key and you can play it up with makeup. Pop a smoking bold red lips and eyeliner.

Sweet in Tiered Skirt

If you fancy sweet pink and feminine look, wear a a sweet pink button-up blouse with lady-like lace and ruffle details. Team it up with a short tiered skirt and peep toe heels.

Lace + Chiffon + Oxfords

Lace top, chiffon maxy skirt in navy blue and oxfords? This is the perfect look that is girly but not too girly. The addition of brown vintage bag and brown oxford shoes grounds this look introducing a jovial quirkiness that I find most appealing.

Polka Dots + Raggedy Denim

Another casual brunch look that is minimalistic with a little something is the pairing of red polka dotted collared blouse with a pair pale blue jeans.

Electric Blue

If you’re low on energy and need a color boost from your wardrobe, electric blue is one of the chic colors that will bring your energy up. Pair a blue slouchy sweater and white pants. Throw on some cool brown bag and comfy brown flats. Whip your hair up in a bun, play up your eye makeup, keep your lips neutral (or not). Wear big hoop earrings and smile really big as you head out for brunch!
