Bring bird prints back into your sunny season wear this year with an array of chic looks. Don’t know how? Then, allow us to help you.

Birds and seasons with the sun peeking teasingly from behind the fluffy white clouds are forever embedded in our psyche.

It’s no surprise then that these feathered beings continue to be the source of inspiration for designers in honing their craft as they sit and design clothing, accessories and hair extensions to showcase the enchanting quality exuded by the flight-ready avian breed.

Remember the feather extension obsession of the past season? No? Refresh your memory here. Clothing rendered in dreamy feather prints was also the rage back when I wrote this piece last year.

Being Spring’s favorite animal print trend, it is to be expected that some of you fashion queens are keen to have bird motifs showcased in your wardrobe for no other reason than to refresh your look. Look out for bird-inspired embroidery work and other graphic and vibrant designs but if that’s not your thing, stick to the digitally printed ones.

Birds of the same feather flock together, as has been said ad nauseam, but fashion thrives on the mix-matching of trends and this year’s no different.

And to help you gather some ideas on how to wear bird prints and look absolutely rad, do please cast your attention to the lookbooks below:
