Fashionista NOW: Baju Raya 2017 ~ The Scallop Kurung Style

Baju Raya 2017 ~ The Scallop Kurung Style

Scallops on your baju kurung. Say what? No, not the seafood. The wavy hemline.

Modern kurung gets a youthful and fun interpretation with the Raya 2017 collection from JubahSouq.

Available in 8 hues that are easily wearable, from deep red to the softest of pink, these mod baju kurung sets feature contrasting scallop layers at the hemline of the long top. Instead of a slit neckline, the blouse has a high round-neck cut. The sleeves are designed narrow, with layers of contrasting colors that complement the scallop hemline.

The long skirt has a mild flare which I personally find gorgeous and practical. I am not much of a fan of the exaggerated flare in long skirts.

Without further ado, let’s just eyeball the Raya-ready baju kurung sets now so you can start hunting down your baju raya.
