Do you find it a challenge to style a long coat and make a statement? Check out our style guide for a quick fashion fix!
Long coats of the midi and maxi lengths are a winter wardrobe staple. Should you find styling them a little hard to do, we’ve scoured 10 stylish and fresh ways to help you solve this dressing conundrum.
When it’s freezing cold, it’s natural to want to layer and bundle up. With a long coat, it becomes an added layer of warmth that kind of serves as an extension of that comfortable blanket we don’t want to part with. Of course, we do want to look like we are ready for the day with some semblance of style no matter what outfits we decide to wear underneath.
While the calf-to-ankle grazing coat plays a functional need to insulate our bodies from the chill, it’s important that we don’t let the need for coziness mutate into lazy dressing (unless it is a lazy sort of day, of course).
As always, to help you get an idea or two on how to best style your long coats this season, scroll down and enjoy!

“Fashion is not trivial. It’s a huge industry and a big part of our lives. Fashion is about us – how we look and present ourselves, how we can change ourselves, and our perceptions. You can dress up to be quite glorious creatures – it’s all a very important part of life.” — Charlotte Rampling
